Dr.
Kaplan received his specialty training in orthodontics at the University of
Washington. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Since 1973
he has been a member of the faculty of the Department of Orthodontics of the Oregon
Health Sciences University in Portland, rising to the rank of Associate Professor.
He continues to teach at the university one day a week. He is a Past President
of the Oregon State Society of Orthodontists, and a member of the American Association
of Orthodontists, and the Edward H Angle Society of Orthodontists. Since 1980,
Dr. Kaplan has been in private practice in Salem and Dallas.
